Mill Mountain Theatre wants you to write about the following prompt:
In The Christmas Cup, Megan McCallie learns the true spirit of the holidays by making a list of all the people who had been especially good to her that year. Outside of your immediate family, who would be at the top of your Christmas Cup list, and why?
Contest Rules:
The contest begins on November 1st, 2018. You can submit your essay any time during the submission period but the deadline for all essays to be submitted is December 1st, 2018. There will be two divisions within the contest, youth: grades 5-12 and adult. Mill Mountain Theatre will have their contest judge review each essay and two winners will be chosen – one from the youth division (grades 5-12) and one from the adult division.
Contest Prizes:
The winning articles will be published in The Roanoke Times! Both winners will each receive two tickets to “The Christmas Cup” and a scholarship to a class at Mill Mountain Theatre Conservatory 2019.
Winners will be contacted via email address submitted in addition to being announced on social media and The Roanoke Times!
