We welcome submissions from community members, Equity and Non-Equity performers for our Trinkle MainStage and Fringe Series productions presented on our Waldron Stage.
Mill Mountain Theatre is committed to building a diverse, accessible, equitable and inclusive community both onstage and throughout our organization. We encourage all artists to submit video auditions. Artists who are members of underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to audition.
2026 Season
9 to 5 Audition Submissions
MMT is currently accepting AEA and Non-AEA Submissions for 9 to 5! Please use the links below to submit! Auditionees are welcome to use the provided materials or submit their own videos or reels. MMT would like to see 60 seconds of each Acting, Singing, and Dancing. Submissions without dance may not be considered. MMT will also be holding in-person auditions on-site on January 20th. Auditionees who submit online do not need to attend in person
2026 Apprentice Submissions
MMT is looking for our 2026 class of apprentices. These 5 individuals will perform in MMT’s productions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Oklahoma!, Wizard of Oz, Pete the Cat, Curious George: The Golden Meatball, and the Encore, a Broadway celebration concert. The goal of the apprenticeship is for early-career artists to have the opportunity to perform while continuing to grow and refine their skills. Apprentices will also have the opportunity to work alongside our education staff on community events or teaching classes if they desire.
This paid position runs from 5/11/2026- 12/20/2026
No casting offers will be made until after the SETC conference on March 8th
2026 Youth Auditions
Local students aged 6 to 18 are encouraged to sign up below to audition for our 2026 season. Any students under the age of 6 are welcome to audition for experience only. Anyone 19 or older should audition through the adult submissions as they are announced in January. We are looking for Students to play roles in the following productions: The Lightning Thief, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Wizard of Oz. MMT 2026 Youth City Spotlight Audition – Blacksburg, VA:
Date: Wednesday – January 7th
Time: Individual time slots between 5:30-6:30pm
Location: Blacksburg United Methodist Church – 111 Church St SE, Blacksburg, VA 24060
Parking: This address takes you to the front of the church; however is best to park behind the church and enter through the rear entrance. If you come down Main Street from Prices Fork Rd/VT, turn left on Lee Street. Or if you’re coming down Main St. from the other direction (460/Christiansburg/Exit 118B), turn Right onto Lee. Take the very next left into the rear parking lot. There is a maroon awning over the sidewalks. Come into the back of the church through the double glass doors. Continue walking forward, go up the small staircase into Whisner Room.
