In Dance Conservatory, students will embark on a skill-enhancing journey, refining their dance techniques to a professional level. Focused on practical preparation, this class will focus on building technique, and knowledge of dance terminology and skills. This will be applied through thoughtful choreography that pushes the limits of the dancers’ abilities to strengthen them to be the best dancers and performers they can be, all while in a safe space that fosters their love for dance and performing. Dance Conservatory ensures students are well-equipped to shine professionally and skillfully.

Conservatory students are expected to conduct themselves as representatives of Mill Mountain Theatre in their character and conduct both inside and outside of class. This includes, but is not limited to, kindness towards peers, respect towards instructors, and timely arrival to class. If any student cannot conduct themselves accordingly, they will be asked to leave for the remainder of the semester and re-audition the following semester.
