AUDITIONS for Music Theatre Conservatory, Acting Conservatory, and “Timeless Twenties – An Immersive Prohibition Experience.” will take place on December 3rd from 3:30-5:30pm at MMT’s Waldron Stage. (20 Church Ave SE, Roanoke, Virginia 24011)
CASTING: Music Theatre Conservatory Class (Middle & High School) and Acting Conservatory Class (Middle & High School), Timeless Twenties- An Immersive Prohibition Experience (High School & Adult)
TO REQUEST AN AUDITION TIME: email conservatoryauditions@nullmillmountain.org with your preference of audition time and list the classes or production for which you are interested in auditioning.
PLEASE PREPARE:
-If auditioning for the Music Theatre Conservatory class please prepare a one minute selection of a musical theatre song and a one minute monologue.
-If auditioning for the Acting Conservatory class please prepare a one minute monologue.
-If auditioning for Timeless Twenties please prepare either a one-minute song (jazz standard preferred, can be musical theatre) or one-minute monologue (preferably in the style of 1920s- can be from a movie during that time).
MUSIC THEATRE CONSERVATORY CLASS:
Seeking Middle & High School Aged Students who wish to be a part of MMT’s Audition-Only Music Theatre Class. Music Theatre Conservatory classes will be held on Tuesdays from 7pm-9pm, February 4 – March 31
ACTING CONSERVATORY CLASS:
Seeking Middle & High School Aged Students who wish to be a part of MMT’s Audition Only Acting Class. Acting Conservatory classes will be held on Wednesdays from 7pm-9pm, February 5 – April 1.
TIMELESS TWENTIES- AN IMMERSIVE PROHIBITION EXPERIENCE
Timeless Twenties will take place at the Historic Fishburn Mansion and be an evening full of musical acts, casino games, and more. Rehearsals will be during the weekends: January of 2020 and performances on January 31 – Feb 2nd, 2020
Seeking High School and Adult aged performers and instrumentalists for roles in Mill Mountain Theatre and Play Roanoke’s collaborative immersive theatrical experience.
Seeking Musical Performers (Singers and Instrumentalists) and Actors to be 1920’s gangsters, Cigar Box Girls, Police Officers, and more!
